D.C. (November 8, 2016) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), America’s
leading small business advocate, issued the following statements in response to
the re-election of Sen. Richard Burr:
“On behalf of the National Federation of
Independent Business and its members in North Carolina, I would like to
congratulate Senator Richard Burr on his re-election,” said NFIB President and CEO Juanita Duggan. “We
were proud to endorse Senator Burr based on his strong record of support for
small business. In North Carolina, nearly 98 percent of all employers are small
businesses and they employ half of the state’s workers. NFIB is ready to work
with him on policies that will make small businesses stronger, create more jobs
in North Carolina and across the U.S., and make our entire nation more prosperous.”
