Colorado Small Business Community Endorses Cory Gardner for Re-election

Date: July 16, 2020

DENVER, Colo. (July 16, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Cory Gardner for re-election to the United States Senate today during a virtual endorsement event.

“His family’s business is a longtime NFIB member and we know Senator Cory Gardner understands the challenges our members face every day,” said Tony Gagliardi, NFIB’s Colorado State Director. “He has been a leader on key small business issues, such as repealing the small business health insurance tax, which unnecessarily increased health insurance premiums for small businesses. Senator Gardner and his team have always reached out to us and our members, and we look forward to continuing to work with him in the Senate. Today, on behalf of Colorado’s small business community, we are proud to endorse Cory Gardner for re-election to the United States Senate.”

Senator Gardner’s family business is an NFIB member. Gardner has achieved strong NFIB Key Vote scores throughout his time in the House and Senate.

“Small businesses need more champions like Cory Gardner in Congress,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He is a proven and dedicated supporter of small businesses, and our members are proud to have him be their voice in Washington. We are pleased to endorse him today.”

Cory Gardner’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Colorado will work hard to re-elect Cory Gardner.
