“We support the candidates that support small business!”
HARRISBURG (Sept. 9, 2020) – The state’s leading small business organization, NFIB, announced today that its state political action committee in Pennsylvania, the NFIB PA PAC, had endorsed candidates for state Senate and House running in the upcoming 2020 General Election. The names of the endorsed candidates are attached.
“After a careful review we found that these candidates have a keen understanding of the problems facing family businesses and their employees,” said NFIB’s Legislative Director, Rebecca Oyler. “We wish them all success in the upcoming General Election, and we look forward to working with them if they return to the Pennsylvania legislature or become new members.”
Oyler said the endorsements were made by the NFIB PA PAC based on the voting records of incumbents, or in the case of challengers, with surveys. Those votes or answers given related to legislation or issue of importance to small businesses in the state.
Oyler said all NFIB small business members in Pennsylvania receive a Voter’s Guide that also lists the NFIB PA PAC endorsed candidates.
“We want to make sure that in November small business owners know which candidates are true small business supporters,” said Oyler.
