The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) requires Group and Group Retrospective Rating Program employers to complete two hours of safety training if they’ve experienced a workers’ compensation claim between July 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016 (also known as the “green period”).
Safety training for the 2017 BWC policy year must be completed between July 1, 2017, and June 30, 2018. NFIB/Ohio and CareWorksComp are currently offering the following webinars listed below to help satisfy this BWC safety training requirement.

BWC Safety Training
To fulfill the training requirement through BWC, you may also complete a BWC safety course. For more information, contact the BWC Division of Safety & Hygiene at www.bwc.ohio.gov/. If you attend a BWC course, you are required to submit proof of completion to us. Certificates of completion, including your company name and BWC policy number, should either be emailed to [email protected] or faxed to (614) 932-1599.
