NFIB Conversations with New York Members of Congress

Date: May 06, 2020

Our members had a chance to ask questions of their federal elected officials

NFIB Conversations with New York Members of Congress

Congressman John Katko (NY-24), Congressman Tom Reed (NY-23), and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21) joined NFIB for live calls to share more information about what Congress is doing to help small businesses through the COVID-19 crisis and to answer questions from NFIB members.

The calls served as an opportunity for NFIB members to share their stories, feedback, and concerns, and also to get answers to important questions related to PPP loans, EIDL loans, unemployment insurance, and future efforts to assist small business.

“We find ourselves in the middle of unprecedented public health and economic crises that have altered every aspect of life and commerce in New York and the nation,” says Greg Biryla, NFIB’s New York State Director. “Congressman Reed, Congressman Katko, and Congresswoman Stefanik made themselves available to communicate directly with small business owners in their district. We applaud them for their efforts to help small businesses through this crisis.”

NFIB’s New York office sincerely thanks these members of the New York Congressional delegation for taking the time to speak with small businesses in their communities and thank you to our small business members from across New York who joined the conversation.
