Massachusetts Governor Announces Certain Business Must Close at 9:30 P.M.

Governor Charlie Baker issued new executive orders mandating the following businesses and activities close to the public between the hours of 9:30 PM and 5:00 AM beginning on Friday, November 6th. Staff may remain on the premises after the business closes.

The following businesses will be impacted:

Restaurants (In-person dining must end at 9:30 PM. Takeout and delivery may continue for food and non-alcoholic beverages.)

Liquor stores and other retail establishments that sell alcohol must cease alcohol sales at 9:30 PM but may continue to sell other products.

Indoor & outdoor events

Theaters/movie theaters (including drive-in movie theaters) and performance venues (indoor and outdoor)

Golf facilities

Recreational boating and boating businesses

Outdoor recreational experiences

Driving and flight schools

Zoos

Close contact personal services (such as hair and nail salons)

Gyms, Fitness Centers and Health Clubs

Indoor and outdoor pools

Museums/cultural & historical facilities/guided tours

 

Masks are required for entrance into all business establishments statewide.
