Is Your Business Prepared for the Start of MA's Paid Family and Medical Leave?

Date: November 03, 2020

NFIB in Massachusetts recently held two online briefings for our members on the Paid Family and Medical Leave law that goes into place on January, 1, 2021. In the first presentation we heard from Jaclyn L. Kugell, a Partner with Morgan, Brown & Joy. In the other, Howard M. Brown, Founder of Boston Employment Law PC gave the presentation.

The PFML benefits workers can begin using at the first of next year are complex, so many members who joined us from across the state for the live online presentations appreciated an explanation of the requirements. The Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) law created new responsibilities for businesses of all sizes, even businesses with fewer than 25 workers. Make sure you are prepared. Take a moment to view the presentations and watch the recordings below by clicking on the title.. Another link below the titles will get you to the slides.
