HOUSE VOTE BRINGS SMALL BUSINESS CLOSER TO NECESSARY REFORM

Date: May 05, 2017

CONCORD (May 5, 2017): The following statement may be attributed to Bruce Berke, New Hampshire State Director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB):

Small business owners and those that they employ have been suffering under Obamacare for far too long. Over the course of the past several years, our members have watched as choice in healthcare disappeared while costs soared. Yesterday’s House vote was certainly a step in the right direction to ensuring that we will finally have solutions to the problems inflicted by Obamacare.

In order for New Hampshire’s small businesses to succeed, we need predictable coverage and costs. Our hope is that both houses of Congress will produce a bill that not only mitigates against any further damage to the healthcare industry but improves the system overall.
