Headquartered in Youngstown, serving a four-state area
In 1991, Nick Laneve opened A&M Towing. Nick has worked in the industry most of his life, serving as a mechanic by trade, then opening his first business doing towing and repair. Today, A&M provides a diversified range of services working on everything from school buses to semi-trucks. Nick takes an active role in his industry and is a founding board member of the newly formed Association of Professional Towers of Ohio.
Growing as a business, A&M is now located in their fifth location at the Lakeshore Motor Freight Building. Currently, Nick is the President of the company, controlling its day-to-day operations. Under him are 26 hard-working employees who serve as mechanics and drivers for the company.

A&M provides services to clients across the greater Mahoning Valley. Since 2001, A&M has been part of the NAPA network which allows their work to be warranted across the country. With its 27 towing and four mobile service vehicles, A&M tows for insurance companies as well. The company markets itself through resources like the Better Business Bureau, Yelp, and Facebook.
The towing business is not without its many challenges. It is difficult for Nick to find employees that have the necessary technical experience to work on or operate trucks that now have up to seven computers in them.
A&M Towing has been a valued member of the NFIB for 17 years. Nick sparked an interest in the NFIB when he heard an NFIB field sales representative speak at a local trade association meeting. A&M Towing values NFIB’s valiant efforts to serve as a “watchdog that gets the information out to small business owners.”
