The Best Choice for Small Business
The NFIB OH PAC, the political action committee of the National Federation of Independent Business in Ohio, the state’s leading small business association representing 22,000 entrepreneurs, is proud to announce its endorsement of State Representative Scott Wiggam who is seeking re-election to Ohio’s 1st House District seat. The district is home to 602 dues-paying members of NFIB.
Wiggam has owned a small business and is a dues-paying member of NFIB. He understands the obstacles Ohio’s entrepreneurs face and will continue to be a strong supporter of important small business issues such as sensible regulatory reform, sound tax policy, and improving workforce development in the Ohio House of Representatives. Those are all key issues to ensure a healthy economy in Ohio.
“Representative Wiggam has been approved through NFIB’s member-driven process that thoroughly reviews candidates’ records, stated positions and understanding of small-business issues before an endorsement is issued,” said Roger Geiger, Vice President and Executive Director of NFIB in Ohio. “As a member of NFIB who has owned a small business, he knows firsthand the pressures entrepreneurs deal with in their day-to-day operations. He has a lifetime 100% voting record with NFIB during his time as a legislator. We look forward to him continuing to be a strong advocate for Ohio job creators in the House of Representatives in the next legislative session.”
“Small businesses have been the catalyst behind the massive economic growth that has occurred in my district and the state of Ohio. I know how important it is to reduce government regulations and taxation to foster an environment that helps create jobs and raise salaries. That is why I am honored to receive the endorsement of NFIB, the largest organization representing small businesses in my district,” said Representative Wiggam.
