Seitz Endorsed by Small Business for Ohio House Seat

Date: August 31, 2016

The National Federation of Independent Business/Ohio (NFIB/Ohio), the state’s leading small business association representing 25,000 entrepreneurs, is proud to announce its endorsement of Sen. Bill Seitz who is seeking election to Ohio’s 30th House District seat. The district is home to 95 dues paying members of NFIB/Ohio. This endorsement today comes from the NFIB/Ohio SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee.

Sen. Seitz has a platform of being a strong voice for fiscal responsibility, fewer regulations, and lower taxes.  During his time in the Ohio Legislature, he has been a dedicated advocate on areas of concern to Ohio entrepreneurs, earning a 96% voting record with NFIB. The issues he champions are the same that the members of NFIB/Ohio have identified through surveying done by the organization of small-business owners throughout the state.

“Sen. Seitz has been approved through NFIB/Ohio’s member-driven process that thoroughly reviews candidates’ records, stated positions and understanding of small-business issues before an endorsement is issued,” said Roger R. Geiger, vice president and executive director of NFIB/Ohio. “During his time in the Ohio Legislature he demonstrated a true understanding of what is important to Ohio’s small business community. We appreciate his sponsorship of the bill to add transparency in regards to attorney contracts with the state of Ohio. We look forward to continuing working with him in the Ohio House of Representatives.”

“I am honored to again receive the NFIB/Ohio SAFE Trust endorsement.  My West Side House district contains thousands of small business owners and their hard-working employees, who are the backbone of Ohio’s economy.  Whether the issue is environmental regulatory overreach, the threat of costly anti-business litigation, or state laws that add expensive paperwork burdens to our job creators, I will continue to work hand in hand with NFIB to stand up for small business,” said Seitz.
