NFIB’s Pennsylvania PAC Endorses 3 Incumbents in State House Races

Date: May 21, 2020

“We support the candidates who support small business”

HARRISBURG, (May 21, 2020) – NFIB today announced that its Pennsylvania political action committee has endorsed three incumbent state House members, Representatives Daryl Metcalfe, Valerie Gaydos, and Marcie Mustello in their reelection bids in advance of Pennsylvania’s June 2 Primary Election.

“During his years of service, Rep. Metcalf has been a consistently strong voice on issues that are top priorities for small business owners in his district and Pennsylvania,” said Gordon Denlinger, state director of NFIB in Pennsylvania. “NFIB is proud to endorse Rep. Metcalf in his re-election bid.  Our members need his continued efforts to keep tax and regulatory burdens under control.”

“Rep. Valerie Gaydos has shown she is a staunch supporter of small business who understands the big role they play in the health of the local economy and job creation,” added Denlinger.

“Marci Mustello has been a supporter of small business issues while serving in the Pennsylvania House and she knows how important that is to the economy of every community in Pennsylvania,” said Denlinger. “All taxpayers, and especially small business owners worry about increasing taxes, and her support of fiscally responsible budgeting and many other small business priorities have been greatly appreciated.”

NFIB is the leading small-business association with over 13,000 members in Pennsylvania representing a cross-section of the state’s economy. The endorsements come from NFIB’s Pennsylvania PAC, the association’s state political action committee, and are based on positions regarding key small-business issues including taxes, health care, labor, and regulatory issues.

Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote for the candidates in the June 2 Primary election and in the general election in November.
