NFIB’S Maryland PAC Endorses State Candidates for House and Senate Primary Election Races

Date: June 25, 2018

“We support the candidates who support small business”

ANNAPOLIS (June 25, 2018) – The NFIB MD PAC today announced candidate endorsements in the state elections for House and Senate in advance of Maryland’s June 26 Primary Election.

“These candidates know what it takes to create jobs, and they understand the challenges that small-business owners face in Maryland,” said NFIB’s Tim Goodrich, Executive Director, State Government Relations.  “They are committed to making this state a better place to grow a business, and that is what we’re looking for.”

NFIB is the leading small-business association with thousands of members in Maryland representing a cross-section of the state’s economy. The endorsements come from NFIB’s Maryland PAC, the association’s state political action committee, and are based on positions regarding key small-business issues, including taxes, health care, labor, and regulatory issues. Each endorsed candidate received a score of 90% or above in Maryland’s most recent NFIB voting record.

Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote for the candidates in the June 26 Primary Election and the General Election in November.
