Manchester Endorsed by NFIB for Election to Ohio’s 84th House District

Date: August 31, 2018

The Best Choice For Small Business Owners

The NFIB OH PAC, the political action committee of the National Federation of Independent Business in Ohio, the state’s leading small business association representing 22,000 entrepreneurs, is proud to announce its endorsement of Susan Manchester who is seeking election to Ohio’s 84th House District seat. The district is home to 895 dues-paying members of NFIB.

Manchester grew up on a family farm, one of the nearly one million small businesses across the state of Ohio. She understands the obstacles entrepreneurs face, and will be a strong supporter of important small business issues such as sensible regulatory reform, sound tax policy, and improving workforce development when she is elected to the Ohio House of Representatives. Those are all key issues NFIB members identify as needed to ensure a healthy economy in Ohio.

“Susan Manchester has been approved through NFIB’s member-driven process that thoroughly reviews candidates’ records, stated positions and understanding of small-business issues before an endorsement is issued,” said Roger Geiger, Vice President and Executive Director of NFIB in Ohio. “Growing up on a family farm certainly helps her to understand the pressures entrepreneurs face in their day-to-day operations. After her interview with our members serving on the NFIB OH PAC Board, they were impressed with her knowledge of the issues concerning small business owners in Ohio, and felt she is the best candidate to represent the 84th House District.”

“It is an honor to receive the endorsement of NFIB. Small businesses are the heart of Ohio’s economy, where things are made, built, produced, and distributed. Part of the reason I decided to run for office was to give a voice to our small farmers, shop owners, and Main Street businesses. Family-owned small businesses are the driving force behind our economic vitality, and I will work to ensure that West Central Ohio is the number one place for small businesses to thrive,” said Manchester.

NFIB is Ohio’s leading small business advocacy organization. Manchester’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB OH PAC, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages, and they are influential in their communities.
