The National Federation of
Independent Business/Ohio (NFIB/Ohio), the state’s leading small business
association representing 25,000 entrepreneurs, is proud to announce its endorsement of Rep. Jonathan Dever, who is seeking re-election to Ohio’s 28th
House District seat. The district is home to 251 dues paying members of
NFIB/Ohio. This endorsement today comes from the NFIB/Ohio SAFE Trust, the
organization’s political action committee.
Rep. Dever is a fiscal
conservative in the Ohio House of Representatives with a platform of being a strong
advocate of economic responsibility. As
a fellow small business owner, he shares the same concerns as Ohio’s
entrepreneurs and understands small-business owners are key components to
Ohio’s economic success.
has been approved through NFIB/Ohio’s
member-driven process that thoroughly reviews candidates’ records, stated
positions and understanding of small-business issues before an endorsement is issued,” said Roger R. Geiger, vice
president and executive director of NFIB/Ohio. “During his time in the Ohio Legislature, he has earned a 100% voting record
on issues important to Ohio’s entrepreneurs.
He co-sponsored a key bill for NFIB this year allowing small business owners
greater flexibility in collecting debts owed them in small claims court. We
look forward to working with him to continue to move Ohio’s economy forward.”
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of NFIB/Ohio.
As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges faced by small
businesses across Ohio and have a strong record of advancing policy that
promotes job growth and economic development. I will continue working toward
those goals if re-elected,” said Dever.
