NFIB Endorses Jason Miyares for Virginia's Next Attorney General

The National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) announced their support and endorsement of Jason Miyares for Attorney General, citing his dedication to preserving Virginia’s Right to Work status and pro-business policies.

“When Jason was a member of the House, he stood with small businesses and supported policies embodied by Virginia’s hard-working entrepreneurs, our state’s job creators and economy drivers,” said NFIB State Director in Virginia, Nicole Riley. “Our members here in the Commonwealth are eager to see Jason represent them as Attorney General, where he will continue to make sure the state’s Right to Work status stays on the books. Our members are very concerned that their employees could be forced to join a union or lose their jobs. Jason Miyares is the clear pro-business candidate in this race.”

“I am incredibly honored to be endorsed by the NFIB, who represent over 6,000 Virginia small and independent business owners. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and have faced enormous challenges over the past year and a half. I believe in building a bottom-up rather than top-down economy. Two-thirds of all new jobs are created by small businesses and I’m honored to stand with them” said Jason Miyares. “As Attorney General, I look forward to working with the small business community to protect jobs, pro-business policies and make Virginia the best state to start a small business.”
