NFIB Tennessee PAC Endorses Greg Vital in Special Election in House District 29

Date: July 22, 2021

The NFIB Tennessee PAC today announced its endorsement of candidate Greg Vital in the upcoming special election in House District 29. The primary will occur on Tuesday, July 27. The general election will occur on Tuesday, Sept. 14. The NFIB Tennessee PAC is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.

“The NFIB Tennessee PAC is proud to endorse Greg Vital, who has a strong pedigree of starting and growing a business and understanding the challenges small business owners continually face,” NFIB State Director Jim Brown said. “He is the clear choice for small business in this special election because he’ll actively promote a positive business environment for Tennessee’s job creators.”

Vital said, “I’m greatly honored to have the support of small business in my campaign. The positions of NFIB members in my district will be top of mind when I’m voting on matters that impact their ability to create jobs and grow their businesses.”

The special election is being held after the death of Rep. Mike Carter in May. The seat is currently held by his wife, Joan, until the conclusion of the special election in September.

The NFIB Tennessee PAC’s endorsement is important to this campaign. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on key small-business issues.
