Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman Sits Down with NFIB to Discuss Fall 2021 Priorities

Senator Jake Corman (R-34), the top-ranking official in the Pennsylvania Senate, recently sat down with NFIB Assistant State Director Melissa Morgan to discuss NFIB’s fall priorities. The discussion included the impact of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative on small and independent business, the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund Debt, Regulatory Reform, and Small Business tax fairness.

Senator Corman agrees that the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative is not good for small businesses and would be another burden on them.

Corman said, “the last thing we want to do is put another burden on small businesses.”
