A&R Rental Center, Quality Inn Breeze Manor Recognized
NFIB PA recently honored John Makrias and John Carlin and Judy Felton-Carlin for their 50-year membership with NFIB at the Small Business Day Craft Beer and Jazz Reception at Appalachian Brewing Company in Harrisburg.
John Makrias accepted the plaque on behalf of his grandparents who started A & R Rental Center in York over 50 years ago. The company provides rental equipment for special events like weddings, parties, and carnivals. A & R Rental Center also rents equipment for construction, home improvement, plumbing, lawn & garden, and moving supplies. Currently, there are two generations of the Makrias family working at A & R Rental. A & R Rental Center operates under the belief that they are here to “help make your projects easier and your events special”.
John Carlin and Judy Felton-Carlin are the owners of the Quality Inn Breeze Manor in Breezewood, PA. Judy’s father, Donald Felton and his two brothers, built the Quality Inn Breeze Manor Motel in 1952. In June 2015, The Quality Inn Breeze Manor was the winner of the Quarterly Challenge, an award given by Choice Hotels, the franchisor of the Quality Inn brand, for excellent staff service at all the Quality Inns nationwide. It remains a highly rated hotel with superb staff and a quaint atmosphere.
