On October 16, business and health leaders met with three Bucks County members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Amongst the crowd were Representative Shelby Labs (R-Bucks), Representative Meghan Schroeder (R-Bucks), and Representative Todd Polinchock (R-Bucks), as well as representation from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association (PMA), and the Pennsylvania Coalition for Civil Justice Reform (PCCJR).
“The three representatives demonstrated their support of small business and the healthcare heroes that have gotten us through the last year and a half,” said NFIB PA State Director Greg Moreland. “Our coalition facilitated a discussion that focused on the current struggles small business owners are facing, liability protections from frivolous lawsuits, and what keeps business owners up at night. Facilitating these conversations and relationships with legislators is a top priority amongst business groups, as many small and independent business owners feel that their voices have not been heard during the pandemic.”
