Prospective Communications update:

BWC
prospective billing webpage
is kept up to date on all important
information.  This includes timelines, presentations, FAQs, fact sheets
and will soon include short how-to videos.  The webpage can be found

Safety
Congress
will feature 2 private employer
education sessions and 1 public employer education session at our annual Safety
Congress.  Information can be found at this link: http://s1.goeshow.com/obwc/safety/2015/index.cfm

Seminars
will be 2 hours in format and consist of a 1 hour prospective billing presentation
followed by a 1 hour safety update.  By combining the seminar with a
safety update, employers will be able to receive safety training program credit
for the following programs:

  • EM Cap
  • One claim program (after
    the first year)
  • Grow Ohio, Safety Council
    (1 meeting credit)
  • Group/Group Retro safety
    program requirement for those participating employers that have had a claim in
    the “green period” 

Invitations
will go out in March to:

  • All employers with an
    e-mail address on file with BWC
  • All TPAs
  • All Business Stakeholders

RSVPs
will be done online, if a seminar fills up, another date will be added to
accommodate future requests.

 will also be offered this spring… Details will be forthcoming.
