ALBANY (June 5, 2020) — NFIB, the state and nation’s leading small business advocacy organization representing over ten thousand members across New York, released the following statement attributable to NFIB’s State Director in New York, Greg Biryla:
“We thank Governor Cuomo for his swift action to support small businesses across New York. Yesterday’s emergency regulation ensures small businesses damaged by recent looting and vandalism will be able to recoup losses and quickly return to business.
“These are the same small businesses struggling through an unpredictable economy and sometimes the best thing government can provide is some peace of mind. The Governor’s action will provide impacted store owners with a degree of confidence and clarity during a time when both are in short supply.”
