NFIB New Jersey’s 2023 Small Business Day, hosted virtually on April 26th, brought together small business owners from around the Garden State to discuss the issues most important to them with State Director Eileen Kean and state lawmakers.
2023 is an important year for New jersey’s small business owners. With single-party control in the capital — and the state legislature up for election in November — lawmakers need to hear from Main Street job creators more than ever on how to best jumpstart economic recovery. To that end, Kean directed an informative discussion with NFIB members to ensure that the Voice of Small Business is well-informed and heard in Trenton.
The event, which was free for members and guests, included an overview of NFIB’s legislative priorities in the state legislature, as well as instruction on how small-business owners can influence policy in New Jersey to help your business succeed. NFIB members interacted with key members of the state Senate and Assembly, discussing the top issues on the agenda in the General Assembly:
