Concord, Oct. 10, 2018 – The NFIB New Hampshire political action committee, NFIB NH PAC, announced today it has endorsed incumbent Governor Chris Sununu for reelection in the 2018 General Election. Chris Sununu has strong support statewide among NFIB’s member small businesses, and among it’s New Hampshire Leadership Council. NFIB’s National Board, made up of business owners from around the country, has also given his endorsement a thumbs up.

“Small businesses appreciate that as governor, Chris Sununu cut regulations and business taxes, held the line on other taxes and fees, and opposed unsustainable programs that could have led to a backdoor income tax,” said Bruce Berke, State Director for NFIB in New Hampshire. “Chris Sununu understands that small, family-owned businesses are the backbone of the New Hampshire economy, and that they can struggle when they are over-taxed and over-regulated. Job creation occurs when we lift those burdens, and Chris Sununu has done just that.”

“On behalf of New Hampshire small businesses, I am grateful for the endorsement of NFIB” said Chris Sununu. “I eliminated more than 1600 costly regulations that were creating roadblocks for small business, passed job-creating business tax cuts, and opposed tax increases in all forms.”

NFIB is the leading small-business association in the nation with thousands of members across New Hampshire, representing a cross-section of the state’s economy. The endorsement comes from the NFIB NH PAC, the association’s state political action committee, which is comprised of New Hampshire small-business owners.

Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote for NFIB NH PAC-endorsed candidates, including Chris Sununu in the General Election.
