CARSON CITY, Nev., Nov. 29, 2019—Will tomorrow’s Small Business Saturday top last year’s record $17.8 billion in sales to independent retailers and restaurants?
“The economic climate for a record-setting Small Business Saturday looks good,” said Randi Thompson, Nevada state director for NFIB, the nation’s largest and leading small-business association. “Those internationally recognized barometers of the Main Street economy, NFIB’s Small Business Economic trends reports, have been showing record highs in small business optimism, job creation, and expansion plans, so this year’s Small Business Saturday is starting out with a nice push. As a small-business owner myself, I am optimistic and anxious about tomorrow!”
