Louis A. Bertolotti was recently named Grassroots Manager for Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey.
He will work closely with the state directors to help run NFIB’s grassroots programs and encourage members to participate in the legislative and political processes.
“We’re excited to have Louis on our team,” Senior Grassroots Manager Jamie Cobby said. “Louis brings a lot of energy and outreach experience to NFIB, and that’s critical when it comes to helping the voice of small business be heard.”
Originally from Northern New Jersey, Louis received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from the University of Notre Dame. He began his political career with Governor Chris Christie’s presidential campaign in 2016. Following that effort, he worked for an advocacy organization based in New York City. Most recently, he served as the Targeted Engagement Manager for the Republican National Committee during the 2020 election cycle, focusing on coalition outreach efforts. Over the course of his career, Louis has worked with political advocacy campaigns in over 20 states across the nation.
“I am thrilled to join the team at NFIB, the premier advocacy association for small business owners,” said Louis Bertolotti. “As someone who was raised in a culture of entrepreneurship, I understand the dedication it takes to manage a business. I am excited to help amplify the voice of hard-working entrepreneurs and the issues that matter to them.”
A former Virginia resident, Louis now lives in Bethesda, Maryland, and is enrolled in the Constitutional Fellowship Program at the Catholic University of America. He has been commissioned as an Honorary Texan, and is looking forward to marrying his Texas Belle later this year along the Mexican Riviera Maya.
