Worry-free events for clients a specialty of Harrisburg-area native
NFIB Pennsylvania member Jason Klock has been involved in the Harrisburg entertainment community since junior high school.
Klock is the owner of Klock Entertainment, a full-service event company that includes:
- disc jockey (DJ) talent
- production
- event design
- photo booths
- audiovisual.
In 2011, Klock was a full-time DJ for weddings, and in 2015 Klock Entertainment entered the corporate and live event market.
Klock Entertainment has eight full-time and 50 part-time employees. Klock enjoys the discipline and high level of expectations that come from conducting corporate events. The expectations, budgets, and need for precision are at a higher level for corporate events, but he still enjoys the social aspects of weddings. He wants his clients to enjoy their event without any worries.
The biggest challenge for his business is educating his clients about what can exist in terms of technology and gear for meetings and events. The fast pace of technology has redefined customer service and hospitality.
Klock was born and raised in the Harrisburg area and is a graduate of Dauphin County Technical School. His grandfather owned Klock’s House of Music in Highspire, which was the inspiration for his love of music. His love of music and his family’s entrepreneurial spirit inspired him to become a DJ and to eventually open his own business.
As a DJ in the Harrisburg area, Klock wondered how he could turn that into a full-time business. He struggled with the decision, but at 24 years old he decided the time was right.
Klock resides in the Harrisburg area and is the proud father of 5-year-old twins and a 3-year-old. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and anything that allows him to stay fit and healthy.
