NFIB State Director Dawn McVea said today that 65 state legislators — 16 members of the Senate and 49 members of the House — achieved a 100 percent NFIB Voting Record in the 2020-21 legislative session.
“Our members really appreciate the work these legislators do to support small business,” McVea said. “Many of these legislators are small business owners themselves, so they really understand the challenges our members face in these trying times.”
McVea said the NFIB Voting Record does not reflect every element considered by a lawmaker when voting, nor does it represent a complete profile of a legislator. The 2020-21 voting record includes 10 key votes in both chambers of the legislature on issues important to small businesses including tax relief, tort reform, and COVID-19 recovery efforts.
