Three state agencies are asking small-business owners to take a seven- to 10-minute online survey about business fraud. NFIB encourages its members to participate.
“This survey is aimed at probing your views more on the bad operators among your competitors than on common criminals or high-tech burglars,” said Patrick Connor, NFIB/Washington state director. “It can be highly irritating for a small-business owner who plays by the rules watch a competitor bending or ignoring them. This survey will help give three state agencies a refined priority on what to investigate and enforce.”
The feedback from business owners across the state will help the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, the Department of Revenue and Employment Security Department build a campaign to address and fight business fraud.
