Governor Wolf has proposed a regulation that will drastically increase the number of entry and mid-level managers who would be required to get overtime pay in Pennsylvania. His plan raises the salary threshold for exempt Pennsylvania employees from $23,660 to $47,476.

Its similar to a proposal President Barack Obama attempted nationally that was challenged by NFIB in the courts, which now remains on hold under the Trump Administration.

If this Pennsylvania OT proposal will impact you, it is important that you help NFIB by submitting comments before the deadline on August 22. We believe such a change would unquestionably harm small businesses and their employees in our state.

Read more about the proposal, and use our sample comments to customize your own. If you have already submitted comments after an earlier email, we are very grateful.  Thanks for helping us to help small business!
