Your Voice is Needed to Stop Tax Increases and New Mandates in Kansas

Date: October 13, 2021

U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids could be the deciding vote on the $3.5 trillion budget bill that would raise taxes and implement new mandates on small businesses.

NFIB has launched new radio, print, and digital ads in KS-3 urging Rep. Davids to vote against tax hikes on small businesses.

Proposals in the $3.5 trillion budget bill include a new tax on pass-through businesses, raising the income tax rate on individuals, increasing the corporate tax rate, mandating businesses with six or more employees provide auto-enrollment retirement plans, and mandating paid leave.

NFIB needs your help to amplify the message. Small businesses cannot afford higher taxes and new mandates.

Contact Rep. Davids and tell her no new mandates and tax increases on small business!

An optional space is included for you to personalize your message in addition to the message provided by NFIB. Your personalized message can and does have a real impact!

If you’re interested in doing more to amplify NFIB’s efforts to stop harmful tax hikes and mandates on small businesses, contact NFIB Kansas Senior Grassroots Manager Jamie Cobby at [email protected].
