NFIB Holds Small Business Roundtable with Kapucian, Pettengill

Date: February 02, 2018

Benton County members of NFIB met today with state Sen. Tim Kapucian and state Rep. Dawn Pettengill to talk about tax reform and other issues affecting small businesses in Iowa. The roundtable took place at Pizza Ranch in Vinton.

“High taxes make it harder for small businesses to grow and create jobs,” NFIB State Director Matt Everson said. “NFIB fought for decades at the federal level for a real tax reform to help small businesses. Now, it’s time for legislators to cut taxes in Iowa, too.”

“Tim Kapucian and Dawn Pettengill clearly understand the challenges facing small-business owners in Benton County and around the state,” Everson said. “NFIB is looking forward to working with them to pass meaningful reforms that help small-business owners, their employees, and their families.”
