SBA Loans Available to Help Small Businesses Affected by the March 3 Storms

Governor Kemp has requested and received the assistance of the U.S. Small Business Administration to aid the Georgia counties affected by the tornadoes and severe weather that swept through the state on March 3.

Financial assistance is available in the form of low-interest disaster loans through SBA to businesses, homeowners and renters to help cover uninsured losses in the following counties: Grady, Talbot, Chattahoochee, Decatur, Harris, Marion, Meriwether, Mitchell, Muscogee, Taylor, Thomas and Upson.

Loans can be used to aid in repairing or replacing disaster-damaged property, real estate, and personal property. Loans are also available to help small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives and most private, non-profit organizations. Follow this link to apply for assistance: disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/Account/Register1.
