Members give lobbying direction on three issues
NFIB thanks its Utah members who took the time to vote their state ballot. Other associations poll their members but NFIB is the only one which centers its lobbying positions, both in Salt Lake City and in Washington D.C., on what its members tell it through annual surveys are their concerns. The 2019 Utah State Ballot asked three questions.
Should Utah require each state resident to carry health insurance or pay a penalty?

Should Utah laws on civil asset forfeiture be changed so that private property is seized only after a criminal conviction is secured?
Yes—69 percent
