Share Your Workers' Comp Stories With Legislative Leaders

Date: August 14, 2019

Workers’ compensation premiums in Illinois are slowing improving. We’ve gone from having the 48th highest rates in the country 10 years ago to the middle of the pack.

According to one survey, Illinois’ workers’ comp rates the 22nd worst in the country, compared to being the 8th worst just two years earlier. Our rates are lower than Wisconsin’s but higher than Missouri’s and Iowa’s and much higher than Indiana’s, which has some of the lowest rates in the country.

When the General Assembly returns to Springfield in 2020, reducing workers’ comp rates will be one of our top priorities, but we need your help.

Please take a moment to complete this brief survey. Your answers will allow us to show lawmakers the toll Illinois’ inflated workers’ comp premiums is having on small businesses. We won’t share identifying information about your business with any elected official without your permission.

Click here to take the survey so our elected leaders can better understand what’s at stake for Illinois’ job creators.
