Is Your Business Following Anti-Sexual Harassment Training Requirements?

Date: September 16, 2021

Illinois law requires employers to provide all employees annual training to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. The Illinois Department of Human Rights oversees the training requirements and implementation of the law.

Every employer, regardless of size, must meet the requirement. If you do not have a training policy or program in place, the best place to start is at the department’s web page for employers.

Employers can access FAQs, training videos, and other resources at no cost. Restaurants and Bars must meet more rigorous standards, which are addressed at the web site.
