Illinois' State of the State Small Biz Bingo

Each January and February, freshly inaugurated and incumbent governors lay out their agendas in their state of the state addresses. This year, what will they have in store for small business-related issues? During their speeches, use this bingo card to cut through the noise and clutter, and find out just how small-biz friendly this coming year could be for you and your firm. Score a bingo? Then 2015 could be bright.

“Next year I expect minimum wage to come roaring back, workers’ compensation reform and service tax,” says NFIB State Director Kim Clarke Maisch. “Our new governor is a Republican—first in 12 years—so we expect a lot of good things from him.  As well, the new lawmakers will be sworn in mid-January, and session will begin in earnest late January or early February.”
