Washington, D.C., February 3, 2015 – The National
Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) today applauded the House for voting
to pass NFIB
Key Vote H.R. 596, which would repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable
Care Act and healthcare-related provisions in the Healthcare and Education
Reconciliation Act of 2010.
“Rising
healthcare costs continue to be the number one concern for small businesses
across the country,” said NFIB President and CEO Dan Danner.
“The Affordable Care Act has increased healthcare costs, taxes and regulatory complexity for small businesses. Voting to repeal the Act sends a
message that real healthcare reform remains a priority for small business.”
