Members give lobbying direction on five issues
NFIB thanks its Nebraska members who took the time to vote their state ballot. Other associations poll their members but NFIB is the only one which centers its lobbying positions, both in Lincoln and Washington D.C., on what its members tell it through annual surveys are their concerns. The 2019 Nebraska State Ballot asked five questions.
1. Should each Nebraska resident be required to carry health insurance or pay a penalty?
Yes—13 percent

2. In light of a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling, should Nebraska enact legislation promoting public sector union membership?
