Indiana members of NFIB met with their legislators at the Statehouse on Wednesday, Feb. 22, as part of NFIB Small Business Day at the Capitol.

The visit to the State Capitol followed a luncheon at the nearby Sheraton Indianapolis City Center. Speakers included U.S. Rep. Susan Brooks and NFIB President & CEO Juanita Duggan.

There was also a legislative update from a panel that included Tony Cook of The Indianapolis Star, Katie Heinz of RTV6, and Eric Berman of WIBC-93.1 FM.

Other speakers included Kevin Kuhlman, NFIB senior director of government relations, and Michael J. Hicks, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research at Ball State University.
“Small Business Day is always a good opportunity for our members to get together and learn more about what’s happening in Indianapolis and, more importantly, to talk to their legislators about the issues that affect them,” said NFIB State Director Barbara Quandt Underwood.
