Natalie Robinson will rally the troops to support small-business agenda at the State Capitol
Lobbying for the small-business agenda in Bismarck is the first and most important product NFIB delivers for its members, the success of which starts with the quality of its grassroots manager.
NFIB is proud to announce Natalie Robinson as the new grassroots manager for North Dakota. “We scored big in winning Natalie’s experience away from other associations desirous of her innumerable talents,” said Daniel Markels, regional public policy director for NFIB. “Her grassroots experience is not hoped for—It’s proven!”
Prior to joining the NFIB, Natalie spent 11 years working for the Indiana attorney general’s office, where, among her many other accomplishments, she established the state’s first and largest Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Task Force by convening more than 100 volunteers consisting of local, state and federal agencies, state legislators, academia, health-care and providers, pharmacists and other advocates affected by the opioid epidemic.
In addition to her role as director of education and outreach, her work for three attorneys general included legislative liaison, director of marketing, and interim press secretary. Prior to working with the state of Indiana, Robinson was an account manager for a full-service advertising agency for more than five years.
She was the recipient of the Certificate of Excellence in Public Service award in 2010 and the Outstanding Community Engagement award in 2016. Robinson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in 2001 with a major in Communications and minor in Business Marketing. She currently resides lives in Plainfield, Indiana.
Robinson will also serve as NFIB’s grassroots manager in Indiana, Minnesota, and South Dakota. As North Dakota’s grassroots manager, she will assist State Director Rae Ann Kelsch will rallying NFIB members to make calls, write letters, pay visits to legislators on legislation vital to small-business solvency.
