NFIB recently presented its coveted Guardian of Small Business award to seven Tennessee lawmakers for their strong support of small business.
The Guardian of Small Business award is the most prestigious honor that NFIB bestows on legislators in recognition of their efforts to support small business. The NFIB Tennessee Leadership Council, an advisory board comprised of NFIB members, voted to present the award to the legislator for his outstanding leadership on small-business issues.
“These legislators helped the voice of small business be heard in the General Assembly when it came to important issues such as taxes and sensible regulations,” said Jim Brown, NFIB’s state director for Tennessee. “On behalf of our small business members across the state, I want to thank each one of them for everything they’ve done to help Tennessee’s job creators.
NFIB plans to recognize several other legislators this year in Middle and West Tennessee. If you are interested in joining us for any of these upcoming presentations, please contact [email protected] for more details.
