Here’s what NFIB State Director Nathan Humphrey said today in response to Senate passage of House Bill 918, legislation that would reduce the tax burden on small-business owners by providing a gradual reduction corporate and individual tax rates:
“Taxes are a big issue with small businesses. This legislation is going to build on the momentum of the historical federal tax reform by letting small-business owners keep more of the money they earn so they can reinvest it and grow their businesses and create jobs.
“On behalf of our members, I want to thank House and Senate leadership along with Governor Deal for supporting Georgia’s small businesses by passing HB918.”
