Carter Takes NFIB Small Business Challenge

Date: February 22, 2018

U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter visited the Paper Clip in Savannah on April 12, 2017, to take the NFIB Small Business Challenge.

The NFIB Small Business Challenge is a national campaign that invites lawmakers to spend a day “on the job” at a small business in their community and allows them to experience firsthand the challenges small-business owners face, including day-to-day management, compliance, and tax issues.

The event gave Representative Carter an opportunity to learn more about the challenges of running a small business and to speak with other small-business owners as part of a small-business roundtable hosted by NFIB.

“It’s very important, when we’re back in the district, to hear from our constituents, particularly on subjects like health care and all the things that are so important to our constituents,” Carter said. “We need that knowledge. We need that communication.”
