Cagle, Kemp Speak at NFIB Georgia Small Business Day Luncheon

About 120 small-business owners and state legislators attended the annual NFIB Georgia Small Business Day at the Capitol luncheon, held Feb. 2 at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot.

Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle was among the speakers at this year’s event. He thanking NFIB members for speaking out about the issues affecting them and their employees. “As an elected official, I know first hand what NFIB means to us being able to get good, positive pro-business legislation done throughout the General Assembly.”

Secretary of State Brian Kemp agreed. “I place tremendous value on the input I receive from business owners, and this feedback has helped us greatly improve our processes in every one of our divisions.” Kemp also pledged to continue working to make Georgia the best state for small businesses.

The keynote speaker was former Atlanta radio personality Neal Boortz, who talked about tax reform, education, and the need to streamline government.
