Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28

Date: November 18, 2020

The pandemic has taken a huge financial toll on small businesses, which is why it’s important to #ShopSmall on Small Business Saturday and throughout the holiday season.

Small Business Saturday, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, began in 2010 in response to another economic crisis, the Great Recession. Last year, Americans spent a record $19.6 billion on Small Business Saturday, according to a survey from American Express and NFIB

For small business owners, the event is a chance to reconnect with customers. American Express has created a website where small business owners can create and download customized marketing materials to encourage customers to connect with them in person or online all season long. Click here to learn more.
