NFIB State Executive Director Bill Herrle said small businesses in the Sunshine State continue to work to overcome supply chain disruptions and a lack of workers.
“Just one of these problems would be challenging enough for a small business, but together they’re making it extremely difficult for owners to get back to where they were before the pandemic began a year and a half ago,” Herrle said. “Empty shelves and a lack of workers are making it hard for small businesses to deliver the goods and services their customers need.”
Small businesses nationwide are struggling with similar issues, he said, but he said Florida owners are determined to get through this.
“When the legislature returns to Tallahassee in January, we will urge lawmakers to take the steps necessary to remedy these problems and put small businesses back on solid ground.”
