VIDEO: How to Engage Employees this Election Season

Date: October 06, 2016

NFIB Virginia Member Hugh Joyce encourages other small-business owners to engage their employees in the political process.

Joyce
decided to demonstrate how important it is to him for his employees to be
involved this election season by offering opportunities to register to vote,
encouraging them to register their family and friends, and giving his employees
a paid day of vacation on Election Day for them to vote and volunteer as they
choose. He believes that if opportunities are provided to employees to get involved
they’re more likely to vote for pro-small business candidates.
