Seventy eight of the 85 candidates endorsed by NFIB in Florida won on Election Day, including Governor-elect Ron DeSantis.
“Election Day was a big day for small businesses in Florida,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB’s Executive Director in Florida. “NFIB supported candidates that have committed their support to small business, and we look forward to working with them to continue to improve our business climate.”
Small business owners were important stakeholders of the Governor’s race. NFIB endorsed Ron DeSantis for Governor in September.
“The Governor of our state plays a critical role in the growth of our economy and the livelihood of the small businesses who power it,” Herrle said. “Governor-elect DeSantis will be a champion for small businesses across Florida. NFIB looks forward to working with him to make Florida an even better place to own, operate and grow a small business.”
