Small Business Endorses Raffensperger for Secretary of State

Date: October 15, 2018

Brad Raffensperger has earned the endorsement of the NFIB Georgia PAC in the race for secretary of state.

“The secretary of state’s responsibilities include the registration of corporations and oversight of professional license holders,” Humphrey said. “Brad Raffensperger understands the challenges of running a business. Our members believe he will go the extra mile to ensure that Georgia’s job creators receive quick and efficient service so they can spend less time standing in line, on hold or waiting by the mailbox and more time actually running their businesses.

“Brad Raffensperger earned a 100% NFIB voting record as a member of the Georgia House,” Humphrey said. “He understands the challenges facing small-business owners, their employees, and their families, and it’s my honor to announce that he has received the endorsement of the NFIB Georgia Political Action Committee.” The PAC is comprised solely of NFIB members, he said.

“I’m honored to receive this endorsement from NFIB,” Raffensperger said. “As someone who has started and owns a small business, I know how important it is to streamline government and cut burdensome red tape so that Georgia business owners can get back to what they are good at, creating jobs and growing our economy.”

Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind Raffensperger’s campaign. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to vote. NFIB will encourage its Georgia members to help turn out the powerful small-business voting bloc on Election Day.
